Dr. Martina Bender
Affiliated Partner - Leadership Advisory
Dr. Martina Bender-Scheel is Affiliated Partner, Leadership Advisory at 2P Partners. She advises owners, investors, CEOs and management teams, not least in private equity portfolio companies and family-owned businesses. She serves as a long-term sparring partner in the day-to-day realities of leadership. She is equally present at defining moments: in the wake of an acquisition, through a generational handover, or in the midst of a transformation.
Martina understands leadership from both sides of the table: as an advisor and as an executive, in business and HR roles alike, and always in high-performance cultures. At McKinsey & Company she led engagements in transformation, turnaround, leadership development and human capital. She also helped build the firm's Non-Executive Board Practice in Switzerland. She went on to hold senior roles at Deloitte and PwC Switzerland, most recently as Chief People Officer and a member of PwC Switzerland's extended executive leadership. Over more than twenty years she has seen a wide range of companies and leadership teams from the inside. She brings that breadth to every engagement. She studied business administration in Mannheim and Madrid and earned her doctorate at WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management, where her research also focused on private equity. As a co-founder of Advance – Women in Swiss Business, she has championed women in leadership for many years.
